Event Updates and Tentative Schedule (22/23)

Changes to the upcoming bang:
After conversations with last year’s community, contributors are interested in alternating the order of the bang to participate in a reverse bang this go-round. I also think this will encourage others to join in on this event and will add variety to the rare pairs showcased for this event.

Below is a tentative calendar for the 2022/23 Yugioh Rare Pairs Mini Bang:

• Signups: Sep 19-Dec 4 (artists may start immediately)
• Check-in #1 (artists only): Dec 25-27
  • ½ complete draft with detailed prompt/vision for fic claim.
• Fic claim period: Dec 29-Dec 31
• Fic claims assigned: Jan 2
• Check-in #2 (artists & writers): Feb 1-3
  • Artists must have piece ¾ finished.
  • Writers must have fic ½ finished.
  • This is also the drop-out deadline for both artists and writers. If a spot is left unfilled, a pinch hitter will be assigned.
• Check-in #3: Feb 26-28
  • Artists should have piece completed and submitted to their partner. Artists should also submit the final piece to mod with a link to the site/account they plan to post it.
  • Writers must have fic ¾ finished/in revision stages.
• Final check-in: March 9-11
  • All fics must be completed and scheduled to post to the AO3 collection.
  • Partners must decide on a posting date so the post schedule can be finalized.
• Posting: March 12-18
